Tristan, one cool little man.

This little man is growing like a weed. I started watching him when he was 3 months old and now he is running around and getting into everything! I literally break into a sweat when I try to take pictures of him these days. No, seriously, I do.

I just love this little guy and could just stare at those blue eyes all day.

Snow Day

Yesterday the kids I watch had a snow day. So we of course put on our snow gear and headed outside. We ate snow, I slipped down the hill (they laughed at me), we made snowmen, and then came in and warmed up to a bowl of popcorn and a movie. Not to shabby. It made me miss being in school and enjoying those days when I would get up early and listened to the radio to see if they would announce your school. Oh well, I guess now I will have to live vicariously through these kids!
Tomorrow we are expecting another big storm here in Northern Virginia so maybe, just maybe I'll be back here blogging this Saturday while I'm snowed in with Doyle. Anyways, be sure to stay warm and drink lots of hot chocolate! :)

Princess Rylan

Rylan is 3 going on 30. She is probably the sweetest little girl I have ever met. She says things to me like, "Miss Myra, can you please give me some water so that I can stay hydrated," or in three year old fashion, "Ah, Miss Myra, your breath kinda smells!" She is just adorable and I enjoy hanging out with her almost everyday.
Today on the way to dropping her big brother off at the bus stop, we got some pictures of her in her new red coat. Isn't she a beauty?

Lauren is 5!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of taking pictures for my realtor, Kim Darwaza. It was for her 5 year old daughter, Lauren's, birthday party at the Amphora Bakery in Reston. If you have never been there it is pretty neat and a great place for a birthday party. The kids got to decorate cupcakes, cookies, chef hats and eat birthday cake all while overlooking where all the yummy baked goods are made. Here are a few pictures to enjoy! Kim, thanks for asking me to join you all!

Nicholas & Isabella

This past weekend I got the chance to take pictures of these two cuties. When I first walked in I got this reaction...

After playing with the camera a little bit and having some deep conversations about Thomas the Train, things turned around! :)

Kisses!

This one just makes me smile!

Merry Christmas Nicholas & Isabella!!!

The Godson

Megan, Tristan's mom, asked me to take a few pictures of him in his "The Godson" t-shirt. His godfather is the currently serving in Iraq, I believe, and she wanted to send some to him pictures. He got Tristan this T-shirt at his baptism. Don't you just love the shirt, and the cute little guy in it?
Here are a few of my favorites.

Interview with an ALMOST 3 year old.

Rylan and I had already played board games, played catch, played with trains, and played with a dollhouse...so we were looking for our next fun thing to do. While we were having a snack, a big apple, we decided to pretend I was interviewing her for a newspaper. Is there really anything better than playing pretend when you're 2 going on 3?

So without further adieu...

Homemade Popsicles :)

Is there anything better than homemade popsicles on a really hot summer day?

I couldn't help myself...

Today I walked into the room and found this, thanks to big sister Rylan.

After dressing up her little brother, Rylan said, "He is getting on my nervous." Never a dull moment.

I tried.

Getting four kids from the age of 8 months to 8 years old to smile at the camera...at the same time...is a pretty impossible task. This was the result.

HAHAHAHAHA

So today we were outside playing and I took a few shots of Tristan, who is now 8 months old. He is such a happy little guy. The second picture cracks me up...I wouldn't mess with him if I were you.

What...what!?!

Another cutie

I was going through my pictures and came across this one...don't his blue eyes make you melt? This is Tristan, the youngest of the kids I watch.
