So I am pretty excited about several things.
1. I am headed home to Pittsburgh this Saturday for a whole week! I honestly can't remember the last time I have been home that long and to make it even better my mom got the whole week off work! Woohoo! Time with family and friends plus good food! Not to shabby!
2. Myra Kushon Photography is in for some big changes over the next month or so. I am currently in the process of building my new blog so keep and eye out for that! I am in love with my new logo and will be sharing that and a bunch of sweet sessions soon too!
3. Baby girl Kushon is busy kicking me and letting me know she's there. Hard to believe I am in the homestretch...less than 3 months left!
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!

Week 26
I can't believe that I'm already at 26 weeks. Ever since I entered into my 2nd trimester time has been FLYING by...I mean warp speed! Can I really be entering into my 3rd trimester so soon? I'm still feeling really good and hope that it will continue since the next few weeks and months are going to be so busy with getting things ready and the holidays. Since my last belly bump picture I think I've grown a bit.

Baby Cullen
Let me introduce to you this handsome little man, Cullen. He is Abbey & Ben's little guy and you might remember them from this post, here. I not only was thrilled to go and hangout with Abbey and Ben again, but meeting their newborn baby was just so exciting. He is such a sweet baby and we are already lining him up as a possible suitor for our baby girl. :) Without further adieu, please meet Cullen.

Abbey & Ben -- Maternity
A few months back I met up with this sweet couple to take their maternity pictures. I'm ashamed that I am just getting these up on the blog right now because they just had their little boy, Cullen, less than two weeks ago! I can't believe I didn't get them up before he was born! This weekend I am going to meet their little guy and take his newborn pictures, yay!!! I had so much fun with them the first time and I couldn't be more excited to meet their little baby boy! I promise to get those pictures up much faster.

Drum Roll.....
And it's a GIRL!!!!
I've been looking forward to this ultrasound for several weeks and today was the day. Tim and I were of course a little nervous but mostly excited about today. We were praying for a good report that everything was looking good and of course hoping to find out the gender. Our tech was really sweet and took tons of pictures of the baby's heart, brain, kidneys, legs, tummy....and then eventually the baby moved just enough for us to get a good look and see if it was a boy or girl. As soon as I looked I could tell a girl but her confirmation put a permanent smile on my face! It was such a neat feeling to know that we will be meeting our baby girl in just four months! At one point she put her little hands on her face and then a moment later used that little hand to punch me. It's amazing how you can watch what your little baby is doing inside you! After the ultrasound was over the doctor came in and just confirmed that everything looks good and the baby is growing just perfectly. She is 21 weeks and weighs 15 ounces! I am just giddy about my little girl and I know Tim is thrilled too. From the second we found out we were pregnant Tim has been confident that we were have a little lady and I thought it was a boy. Tim you were right, enjoy being right this one time. ;)
This past weekend I went home to Pittsburgh for a short visit and my mom pulled out my baby stuff and we got to dig through it. I can't wait to put her in clothes that my mom put me in 26 years ago! I also got to flip through some albums of when my mom was pregnant with me! So hard to believe that in four months I am going to be a mommy too!
Since I sat down to write this blog I have definitely felt the baby kicking. I've been waiting to feel life and I guess that too is starting today!
What a great day! Also, I promise I'm getting another bump picture up in the next few days!
